3 Keys they used to hit their Training Goals, which you can use…

In good news today, previously mentioned Costa (location rhyming with ‘liars mate)…

Has got its service back on track today

 

But also a trio of great results were achieved by Rob, Caroline and Darren last week

 

Not bringing these up to gloat, but to share on what has enabled this, which you can tap into yourself

 

I’m going to take a different, but shared quality from each person

Which you need to apply to succeed with your training and nutrition…

 

Rob has dropped 2kg of body fat and put on 3kg on muscle mass

But in a way which makes him look fitter, healthier and more athletic (not a bodybuilder)

 

With a seated office job and a like for the odd drop of booze, nutrition was always going to be his battle

That’s why it had to be realistic for him to do, while also being effective

 

He didn’t crash diet or only eat grilled fish and cale…

 

Instead he took control on his overall calorie intake by removing unnecessary sugars and calorie dense meals from things like takeaways

 

Increased his protein intake

 

And did this for the vast majority of the week, while still having the odd treat here and there to make it sustainable

 

Sure he could have crash dieted and lost most weight BUT…

He wouldn’t have been as healthy and it wouldn’t have been sustainable

 

This way, you can progress without finding it a huge chore

Sure it will be a challenge but something you know you can continue, which will motivate you

 

 

Darren saw a huge increase in his fitness/conditioning, how do we know?

Through monitoring his power outputs on the exercise bike we use, every session

 

Its so easy for people to shy away from sessions and miss them…

Darren hasn’t missed one, despite HUGE challenges going on in is life

 

Not only this, he’s remained to keep driven and motivated

This has been fuel which week on week has took him step by step nearer to where he is

 

You too can achieve this, with the same fundamental commitment; turn up, do the work

 

 

Caroline did her first competitive rowing race, pain free for months (and won)

 

Being a completely new thing to her, it was key she trusted the processes…

The things we earmarked as key for her to do to get to where she is

 

So despite being a newbie, she trusted us, she bought in to what we coached her

Even when I restricted her week on week how many lengths she could row

(and she probably wanted to pull my hair out!)

 

You too need to trust to processes, moments of doubt are always common
