What gave them their Results

So you may have seen on Facebook…

One of the members who last week tested, came in with some tremendous results

(over 4kg of body fat lost and increased fitness)

 

Gains they wanted badly to not only look and feel better, but to hopefully get them doing an amateur triathlon in the future

 

So training wise what did we/he do to achieve this?

 

Based on our experience what was put into place to drive such a great change?

 

FITNESS

 

No long drawn out cardio

That wouldn’t cut the mustard remotely!

In fact it would be mindless

 

Instead, short, very intense bouts of exercise

Using exercises which recruited large amounts of the body

Structured in a way for optimal effect

 

And through these surges of activity

Turning on the pathways which ramp up fitness

(something very fancy called PGC-1α)

 

Guess how long the main session took?

21 minutes (of which 7 minutes max was work)

 

 

BODY FAT

 

Through the above fitness work, the high oxygen demand = opportunity to burn a lot of fat

 

In the quest to recover, the body consumed excess oxygen after the sessions for hours on end

To fuel this, fat was took up and burned by the body

 

This is the biproduct of how the fitness work was structured and executed

 

Its not anything new, but knowing how to structure sessions for best effect is an art

(and that takes experience and know how)

 

So unless you have a lot of time on your hands…

Don’t mind being on a treadmill for 45 minutes looking in the mirror…

And are ok with finishing in a state or boredom

 

Then this method is the one for you

 

Oh and one other thing

 

That nutrition thing we talk about…

 

The right amount TOTAL amount of calories were consumed, at the right TIMES, from the right TYPES of food

 

Was this flawless?

 

No, unless the Krispy Krèmes they consumed one weekend don’t count, but 90% of it was inline with the above

 

Did I just speak about dozens of things?

Did I tell things which were super complex?

 

Nope, we cut out the crap and focused on these BIG things to actually get big results

 

Simplicity is a powerful art
