But I did the next best thing Sat
I got a movie on Box Office…
Apart from several interruptions from my little lad waking up
I bloody LOVED it
And it made me think…
All things aside, this legend rocked up on a roof top
Hid himself and his weapon…
And based on trusted intelligence found a target and shot
Eat, sleep. shoot, repeat
Training should be fundamentally this simple
But its not is it?
You should be able to…
Apply your energy to putting in the effort to your training
Trust the training programme to deliver optimal gains
Trust the recovery
And achieve the targets you want to with your body
But often it’s a bit like this…
Not really have an idea of what to do
If you do, you don’t trust it, so you try and do everything
You don’t rest enough cos’ some egotistical person wants the kit your on
You get stressed and pissed with the ordeal
Motivation dips, results are disappointing
To avoid this you need to ensure your training is FOCUSED
100%, soley on the things which optimally deliver…
On the very things you want to achieve
Are you using compound exercises?
Are you using sound technique?
Are you controlling the lowering part of the exercises?
Are you overloading the correct muscles?
Are you using suitable rests?
So you can then trust this
And just focus on applying your effort with diluting and worrying about it
