Damn I hate the evening munchies

Know what I mean?

Your sat down, watching the soaps

(maybe that’s just me)

Then BOOM!

The Cadbury’s talks to you

The cake drags you towards the cupboards

Happens to the best of us

Including me and coach Ed

But how can you deal with this?

How can you keep le wolf from le door?

KNOWLEDGE BOMB 1…

Evening hunger urges occur when the body hasn’t been satisfied prior

In other words…

You haven’t fulfilled its needs earlier in the day

Evening munchers tend to under eat earlier OR

Go long periods in the day without eating (snacking)

Easy fix…

Eat meals, snack regularly, don’t under eat on healthy foods

KNOWLEDGE BOMB 2…

Supper

That might sound old fashioned but an evening feed is useful

It can aid training responses, recovery and quash the hunger

Key is that is a source of protein

And its not too big

A shake, meat, cheese, antipast to name a few

Sound boring?

Just think…

If your genuinely hungry then why wouldn’t you have this?

Satisfy the hunger with something which will nail it

Rather than fuel it

KNOWLEDGE BOMB 3…

Drink

Im not talking a pint of your finest or a baby sham

I mean have a normal no calorie drink

Often people forget to drink fluid later in the day

This need for fluid can often be confused with hunger

So get to the tap, fridge, whatever and fill up with fluid

(take it easy though as you don’t wanna be piddling all night)

Various tips like this are what we share with our team members C.P

Because nutrition is often make or break in your SUCCESS
