You know I love a tipple

Sometimes a cold beer…

A chilled wine

Or strong whiskey to put hairs on my chest

 

But are you drinking too much relative to your training ambitions?

 

Is the booze intake in line with the physical things you want from your body?

 

This mind teaser was put to me by someone I know

(who’s lost a bucket load of body fat)

 

‘I’d consider going out and eating 6 bars in an evening unhealthy…

So why would I then go out and drink a few drinks and think its different’?

 

Example being a few alcoholic cheeky shnifters

Which typically equate to the 6 x chocy bar equivalent

 

Would you justify having a couple of cheeky chunks of choc cake most nights inline with what you want form your training?

 

The mind is a funny old thing, it considers liquid different to food

 

Junk calories are junk calories

And while we all deserve some each week

Many (maybe you?) class the boozy ones more ok than they are?

 

Enjoy some alcohol

But don’t forget, they count towards your nutrition

And will influence your success
